Aha - I was jumping the gun, thinking it was the 5th anniversary of FR&BS! I have to wait another 5 months for that. But congrats on nearly 71 and nearly 5! Using my double dog years formula for determining Stack years, that would make you....drum roll....70! So your actual age and your Stack age are almost identical!
Holy alignment, Batman! May the 4th will be my 4th Stackaversary, so I'll be 56, which is a tad younger than my actual age, but with the speed of the 14:1 ratio, it should match my actual age around August.
And if you can follow all of that, your mind is much younger than 71.
I should probably do something in early August to celebrate FR&B's 5th anny....but, I'm usually loathe to wave my arms in the air and say, "Hey! Looka me!!!" which is why this month's celebration is rather thickly veiled as pointing to MY birthday, while making it far more FR&B heavy, with MY birthday as simply a bit of a cheap predicate! Plus, I didn't want to wait 5 months trying to remember the gimmick of the biz card giveaway!
We should do something to celebriate (I love adding that extra syllable to "celebrate"!...accent on the 2nd syllable....almost sounds like a merging of inebriate and celebrate!!)🥂....back to you: Celebrate your 4th Stackaversary! Let's ponder something!
Thanks, Ellen, for the well wishes! In looking for Larry pix on the 'net yesterday, I ran across that pic, but he didn't look like the Larry I knew some 6-7 years after! So, I'm like, "OK, my search brought me to this? Who's that kid?" I knew Larry as, of course, into his 20s, and a tad heavier. Now, who TOOK that shot, I have no idea! One of the commenters is a gal, and refers to Larry as a boyfriend in Jr. Hi! Well, maybe so, but by the time I met him, he was fully and proudly gay! Sadly, 'twas AIDS which befell him in the '80s. He was a sweetheart....a couple days after this Ramones pic, he brought me 3 hard copies (after he did the usual washing and chemical dips one did back then for pix!)....snapshot, 8x10, and 11x17! I kept all three for a couple dozen years before I had a friend digitize one at the turn of the century, which is why we all can enjoy it now!! Thanks again, Ellen! Welcome to the party!🎈🎂🎁
