Nice! I had stop and marvel at the plethora of puns in the first paragraph (and title) alone as there clearly exudes a authorial sense of pride in such an ear-ie display of wordplay!

Especially “tip of the eyes-berg which being a Goldberg feels like a shout out at the same time.

Thanks for noticing and appreciating, Steve! I find those "GROW BIGGER EARS" Playlists an easier arena to "pun dump"! So, I like stretching out a bit and having some pun fun there, where my other lanes lend themselves to a more serious presentation.

As for the frozen chunks up north, we'll be hosting Eb and Floe Iceberg for Hanukkah this year. You're more than welcome to fall by, Steve, if you'd like...just be careful where you park your ocean liner.😎

Thanks, Michael! We're booking passage, now, on GROW BIGGER EARS #5....a 5-song Power Pop Playlist surrounding the notion of flight! No particular word in the title, but songs conceptually focusing on planes, flight, etc.! ETA? Later this week!

Feel free (between YOUR compositional endeavors) to submit your guesses, here, as to songs that you think might (or should) make the Playlist manifest! See you on the tarmac, and thanks again!

Very impressive, M-eye-chael! In fact, Eye'd go so far as to call your effort spect-ocular! You're scoring very well on the "Audio Autopsy" ethos of the Power Pop Playlist! Eye've thrown this challenge to a couple of friends eye bump into regularly at my 'hood Panera, and they usually land on the million-sellers, as well. But, FR&B, as you know, bypasses the "top-selling" and "best of the best" to, hopefully, unearth the little-heard and under-sung!👀🎼😁👍

And in terms of music, it’d been at least a decade since I played The Records or “Starry Eyes” so that was a joyous reunion for me. It indeed is a perfect power-pop tune. I’m sure you’ve written about Shoes a time or two these digital pages, but The Records and this song in particular reminds me of them. Did Shoes do a cover of it? And I used to have that Poptopia album at some stage of life -- what a gem!
